What are we looking for?

A do-it-yourself project that is unique, inspiring, engaging, and/or interactive for observers. It tells a story. It could be art, a tool, toy, or something different. This is not a commercial event. Therefore, no marketing or sales are allowed at the event, but your exhibition can be a product you want to or already sell outside the event, or skills you use to make a living. Exhibitors are meant to demo, explain, and build interest in their craft within the public. There may be different size requirements: 10x10 booth, larger, or outdoor space may be possible to arrange. We are willing to work with riskier projects (e.g. a rocket propelled motorcycle) but must ensure the safety of both exhibitor and audience; so don’t hesitate to offer any project you have!

Who should apply for a booth?

Local, Regional, or national groups, clubs, individuals, schools, universities, and hobbyists who can and wish to demonstrate their invention/craft/project in a fair setting.

What is the cost to exhibit?

Applicants who are approved will receive an 8’x10’ display area at no charge with a table, 2 chairs, wifi, and power. Applicants who wish to offer their craft for sale at the event may be asked to pay a fee for their booth space (indicate sales plan when applying).

How many creators will exhibit?

The Maker Fest is able to support thirty or more exhibitors. Attendee cost is free.
