We're Hiring: Office Manager

The Randolph Area Community Development Corporation (RACDC) seeks a full-time Office Manager responsible for administrative and record-keeping roles. This individual will work closely with the Ex. Dir. and accountant in management of grant, financial and personnel records.  We are seeking a candidate that is professional, responsible, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable. A successful candidate will be able to juggle many tasks while staying focused on the organization’s larger mission and goals of serving the Randolph community. Desired skills include: Excel, Word, database experience a plus, good written and verbal skills, ability to lift 25 lbs, and interact with the public. Position will be primarily based in RACDC’s downtown Randolph office. Position may require assistance to program staff and other duties as assigned.  30-40 hours/week, salary commensurate with experience.

Specific Responsibilities for this position at RACDC include, but are not limited to:

  • Office Administration: Perform a wide range of duties to facilitate the smooth functioning and maintenance of busy nonprofit, including answering phones and emails, responding to requests for information, coordinating and administering office mailings, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies. Build and maintain systems to keep the office organized. Work closely with the Executive Director and other staff to ensure accurate record-keeping for grant, financial, and personnel records with a high regard for confidentiality.
  • Staff Support: Support program staff with project coordination, events, data entry, and mailings and communication as needed.
  • Job duties require knowledge of administrative systems and procedures for a nonprofit office including:
    • Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years relevant work experience
    • Customer Service
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Capable of working collaboratively and independently
    • General understanding of and interest in community and economic development in a unique rural community, and an ability to communicate and build excitement around our work
    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, quality, confidentiality, and an effective customer service focus
    • Familiarity with databases
    • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
