Randolph Democratic Justice of the Peace Caucus

Tuesday, July 23, 2024 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm07/23/2024 10:00pm Randolph Democratic Justice of the Peace Caucus Any Randolph registered democrat is invited to attend the Justice of the Peace caucus on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:00 pm in the upstairs conference room at the Randolph Town Offices for the purposes of choosing justice of the peace candidates to appear on the ballot in the November 5, 2024 election. Qualifications to be on the ballot are: You must be 18 years of age or older You must be a resident of Randolph (which includes Randolph Center and East Randolph) You must agree to run as a Democrat Duties of a J.P. include: 1. act as local elections officials to support free and fair elections in each community 2. hear tax abatements and assessments to provide a transparent & responsive process 3. administer oaths 4. perform marriages More information about the duties at elections and on the Board of Abatement will be provided at the meeting, or please visit the Secretary of State's website.
