Braintree Bluegrass Brunch This Sunday!
Braintree Bluegrass Brunches will resume this year with live music, bike rides, art, food & beverages! An all-ages event amidst the spectacular surroundings of the Braintree Hill Meetinghouse (2756 Braintree Hill Rd).
10 AM - Bike Ride from the Meetinghouse with Ridgeline Outdoor Collective
11 AM - Gates Open & Family Music Workshop Begins
12 PM - Live Music Starts
Acoustic Nomads and The VT Bluegrass Pioneers perform opening week, June 29th. The event will open with a free children and family music workshop at 11 am, followed by the Vermont Bluegrass Pioneers at 12pm, and Acoustic Nomads at 1:30pm.
Later events in the series include:
July 27th: Vermont's Mountain Dog, and the all star mandolin duo of Matt Flinner and Joe K. Walsh.
September 28th: Closing event featuring central Vermont quartet Turnip Truck.
The concert series is not ticketed but pay-what-you-can donations will be accepted both before and during the events. Proceeds after expenses will be split between the three organizations to help them carry out their missions. The address of the Meetinghouse is 2756 Braintree Hill Road, Braintree VT 05060.
