Braintree Bluegrass Brunches will resume this year with live music, bike rides, art, food & beverages! An all-ages event amidst the spectacular surroundings of the Braintree Hill Meetinghouse (2756 Braintree Hill Rd). 10 AM - Bike Ride from the Meetinghouse with Ridgeline Outdoor Collective 11 AM - Gates Open & Family Music Workshop Begins 12 PM - Live Music Starts Acoustic Nomads and The VT Bluegrass Pioneers perform opening week, June 29th. The event will open with a free children and family music workshop at 11 am, followed by the Vermont Bluegrass Pioneers at 12pm, and Acoustic Nomads at 1:30pm. Later events in the series include: July 27th: Vermont's Mountain Dog, and the all star mandolin duo of Matt Flinner and Joe K. Walsh. September 28th: Closing event featuring central Vermont quartet Turnip Truck. The concert series is not ticketed but pay-what-you-can donations will be accepted both before and during the events.
