Blues & Beyond originated in the Burlington Vermont area as a collection of players who all attended the “Blues Jams” hosted by the (now) Vermont Blues Society. Guitarist and bandleader Timothy James initiated the concept of taking the music beyond Blues to infuse Jazz, Soul, and Lounge music.
