Ali T:
Alison Turner, better known as Ali T, is an indie-pop singer-songwriter based in Vermont. Influenced by pop/rock anthems of the early 2000s, the songstress performs original favorites and puts her own spin on popular tunes. Having started writing songs at the age of seven, and picking up the guitar when she was 11, Ali has developed into an introspective songwriter and versatile performer. Vermont's Seven Days named Ali T "Best Pop Artist" in 2023, having been a nominee since 2018. She has also been a finalist for Best Vocalist (2018-2022) and was a nominee in the New England Music Awards for "Rising Star - Vermont" (2022) and "Pop Act of the Year" (2023).
Ali grew up on a farm in Royalton, Vermont and graduated from Wagner College on Staten Island. She majored in Arts Administration and minored in both film & media studies and psychology. Ali typically performs 100+ shows per year. She used her pandemic time to write and create - producing a music video for a new single, "Down (Wonderland)" (2020), a tune she wrote and produced over a span of three days. Two more singles followed - "Monsters & Demons" (2021) and her first holiday tune, "Snowed In" (2021). Songs have been featured on radio stations across the region, including Vermont's The Point, VPR, WEQX, and Boston's 'The River'.
Ali has released three albums - "Smoke & Mirrors" (2019) with help from Grammy-winning sound engineer and her former guitar teacher, Ed Eastridge, "The Makeover" (2021), which is a remastered and reworked collection of original songs from her past, and her latest release - the entirely self-produced, "Pancakes At Midnight" (2023). Her music is available on all streaming platforms.
Shy Husky:
"A distillation of decades' worth of rock" (Chris Farnsworth, Seven Days).
Simultaneously nostalgic and fresh, Shy Husky's music serves as an update to the 90's alt-rock they grew up on. Big, distorted guitars and pounding drums blend seamlessly with modern clean, pop-infused vocals to create a new style that lands at the intersection of emo, pop punk, and modern alt-rock. On their 2023 self-titled EP, produced by Matt Appleton (The Used, Atreyu, The Ataris), they find their sound, creating a solid debut that showcases their precise songwriting while maintaining the edge and energy they bring to their live shows. Based in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire, Shy Husky is a staple of their local music scene and has roots growing throughout New England.
Nick Granelle:
Nick Granelle is an indie rock singer, guitarist, and producer, splitting his time between Brooklyn and Vermont. His Zappa inspired solos blend into Strokes influences. From his early 2k upbringing he combines elements of rock, retro-indie and modern prog to create a distinct sound that is freshly nostalgic. His self produced music highlights his ability to pair infectious melodies with pristine auditory production.
