Celebrating Senators Mark Macdonald & Dick Mccormack
For more than 40 years, Vermont Conservation Voters (VCV) has been endorsing and electing environmental leaders to serve our great state. Every two years, VCV honors those with a legacy of passing and protecting environmental and climate policies with their 2025 Environmental Lifetime Achievement Award.
This year's honorees are former legislators Mark MacDonald and Dick McCormack. Mark and Dick have a combined 70 years of serving Vermont in the legislature representing their districts in Orange and Windsor counties. They both were steadfast in their support of environmental protection, advancement to cleaner energy sources, defense and reform of Act 250, and making Vermont a healthier place for all.
On Monday, April 28th at 5:30PM at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph, VT, VCV will celebrate their years of service and their commitment to passing policies that better Vermont. Lite fare and cash bar will be available.
