Good afternoon folks, We're excited to bring back the annual Duck Race this year—and we have a few updates to share! 1. Volunteers Needed: We're looking for a few volunteers to be in the water during the race to help catch ducks and make sure they make it safely down the river. The time commitment is about one hour, and you will be in the water. This event can't happen without your help, and we truly appreciate anyone willing to lend a hand! Please email rfgcvt@gmail.com or 802-591-1894 if interested 2. Business Sponsors Welcome: If you own a business and would like to sponsor the event, please reach out! I can message or email you for more details if interested. Sponsorships are tax-deductible and help send local kids to Green Mountain Conservation Camp. Sponsors also receive a larger duck to decorate—cue some friendly competition in the community! Sponsor levels are $50, $75, and $100. You don't need to decorate a duck to sponsor. We will advertise for you. 3. Duck Tickets Now Available: Tickets are $5 per duck. You can even request specific numbers, and we'll reserve them for you (if they are still available). Payment can be made via cash, check, or Venmo. I will be outside of Shaw's on June 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., selling tickets. You can also purchase them at our booth on July 4th in the recreation field before 1:30 p.m. We have not heard back if we can sell at the fireworks this year.
