"Messiah" Singalong in Randolph
All Are Welcome
At "Messiah" Singalong
Anyone and everyone is invited to participate in Randolph's traditional "Messiah" singalong on Sunday, January 5 at 2 pm at Bethany Church.
"Singing Handel's choral masterpiece is a great way to bring in the New Year," said Marjorie Drysdale, who will lead the much-anticipated biennial celebration. "People of all ages and abilities are welcome."
Music from the Christmas section of the oratorio will be featured, along with the "Hallelujah Chorus," which will bring the program to a rousing conclusion.
"Anyone who wants to sing in the choral numbers, or even to simply come and listen, can just show up," said Drysdale. "Anyone interested in singing a solo or in participating in the volunteer, pick-up orchestra is asked to contact me, preferably before January 1."
"Solo groups are also welcome," said Drysdale. "Some people prefer to bring a few friends along to sing with them."
