Posting for DHS: The Duxbury Historical Society is presenting the classic vampire film "Nosferatu" on October 28th at 6 pm at the DHS Meeting House across from Harwood Union. We would love to have our fellow-historical society friends from Randolph Historical Society join us. Duxbury resident and filmmaker, Scott Tuft, is showing the film to raise funds for the DHS. Henrik Galeen, the screenwriter of "Nosferatu" and other monster films, was born in Austria but is buried in Randolph, Vermont (note: or maybe Gaysville). It's a real mystery why he ended up in Vermont. Do folks have info on Mr. Galeen? It would be amazing if you did. Admission is by donation. All proceeds will benefit the Duxbury Historical Society. RSVP to me at willie@moosemeadowlodge.com. Details are available on the DHS Facebook Event Page. Thank you! https://www.facebook.com/events/1424764123119558/
