The Peavine Boys:
The Peavine Boys are an Americana band, whose lively mixture of originals, rockabilly, old-time country and occasional classics, always provide an upbeat and danceable atmosphere to any occasion. We play for private parties, political fundraisers, special events or celebrations and appear regularly at restaurants and taverns in central Vermont. The band includes lead and rhythm guitars, mandolin, bass and percussion, supplemented with the occasional harmonica, accordion, fiddle and slide guitar. Vocals and harmonies are a specialty.
Jennings and McComber:
Jennings & McComber is a husband-and-wife duo from Vermont, consisting of Andy and Kara Lake. Named after their maternal grandmothers, Lorena Jennings and Georgena McCumber, they met in 1996 during a production of Crazy for You at the Weston Playhouse, married the following year, and raised six children in Vermont. They began writing and performing original music in 2014 and have released two albums: Let Fall the Fine (2016) and Will You Leave the Light On? (2019). Their latest single, Benny, came out in December 2024.
Katie Dobbins:
With a mastery of storytelling and the heart of a poet, NH based songwriter Katie Dobbins captures elements of life and relationships in ways that lift the spirit and challenge the soul. Carolyn Kruse of Country 102.5 WKLB raved "Sweet but bold, Katie's voice is reminiscent of one of her heroes, Jewel, but only deeper... a fearless spirit with a gentle touch." Her sophomore album, There Is Light, contains remarkably honest songs that capture seasons of both hardship and joy, but hold onto the hope that light will always illuminate and overpower darkness. Most recently, Dobbins has released a collection of singles including Wild, Just Cause I Can, and Giants, which are available on all streaming services. You can find her performing solo throughout New England or at her original music series, Songwriter RoundUp in Meredith NH, where she performs alongside a rotating cast of singer-songwriters every month.
