Grammy-nominated Reed Foehl, one of the great songwriters of our time, will bring his band to the Wayside Farm stage next Saturday, August 31st. Reed Foehl, born into a musical family writes songs about the human condition while paying homage to tradition. His music is genuine Folk/Americana. Vermont's own Anais Mitchell says "Reed's songs hit you in the heart, and everything else fades away." The four-piece band includes Jeff Berlin on drums, Putnam Murdock, on bass and backing vocals, and special guest Val McCallum on guitar. Born in Windsor VT, Val McCallum has performed with notable artists such as Gregg Allman, Lucinda Williams, and Jackson Brown.
