WHO ARE YOUR CANDIDATES? Monique Priestley (D/P) Current Representative ORA-2 (4 Yrs) https://priestleyvt.com John Benson (R) Current Senator ORA (1 Yr) https://bensonforvtsenate.com Whoever gets the most votes in the General will win the Orange County State Senate seat. WHY SHOULD YOU CARE? Representation matters. There are only 30 State Senators and they each have more independent influence (and get lobbied harder) than our 150 House Representatives. In the case of Orange County, the State Senate seat represents nearly all towns in the county (13 of the 17). WANT TO LEARN MORE?
