Children and their parents are invited to Trick or Treat at the participating downtown merchants. The Safe and Seen Event begins at 4:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm at locations throughout the downtown. Find the Day of the Dead Display from the White River Craft Center at the Gazebo and the Fire Truck in the RiteAid Parking lot. Some businesses are starting earlier, including Kimball Library, which begins their festivities at 2 pm. Hoping we don't have to use it, but the rain plan is to have businesses with a tent in the Rite Aid parking lot with the Fire Truck. Other businesses who come downtown to be part of the event will set up indoors at 15 North Main (joining Third Branch Pottery, VT Heritage Real Estate, Windy Lane Bakery, and Arc & Curve) or at 10 South Main at Speaking Volumes' large front porch and entry area (next to Dunkin Donuts/TenneyBrook).
