Special Film Showing at the Playhouse

Special Film Showing at the Playhouse
Indivisible Randolph Vermont will be sponsoring the documentary, "Democracy Noir" at the Playhouse Movie Theater on Sunday, January 25th at 6:30 pm.
Amidst the brazen rise of 21st century authoritarianism, few politicians have proven as corrupt and adept at undermining democracy as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. As Orbán dismantles Hungary's democratic institutions, three courageous women—a journalist, a politician, and a nurse—fight relentlessly to expose the lies and corruption embedded in Orbán's government. Democracy Noir is a chilling exposé of far-right nationalism and an inspirational beacon of resistance.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome to help cover the showing fee. Nonperishable food donations will also be accepted for the Randolph Area Food Shelf.
If the weather is bad for travel, we will change the movie date to January 26th. Anyone who signs up for the event via Mobilize (at this link: https://mobilize.us/s/XqQH1F), will receive a notification of the change.
