Veterans to Gather Following Wreath Laying Event
Thank any of you that Sponsored Wreaths and/or are Volunteering for National Wreaths Across America Day. I am reaching out with information about a special Veterans Gathering to follow that very important event.
READ ON:
WE MADE OUR GOAL! EVERY grave will be adorned by a wreath honoring our Veterans! At the ceremony scheduled for December 12/13, 2025, at NOON at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery, ALL branches will be honored and thanked for their service to our country. The laying of the wreaths will follow.
Anyone who would like to volunteer to help can sign up by clicking the blue VOLUNTEER button on our https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/VT0016 page, or just show up at noon. As each wreath is lain, the Volunteer speaks the Veterans name and thanks them for their service.
Again, this year, the folks from Shaw's will be serving drinks and other offerings. Bless them!
FOLLOWING the above honor of our Veterans no longer with us, there will be a gathering for our LIVING VETERANS, their families, friends and all who gathered at the Vet Cemetery to honor our Vets and help us. IT'S A WARM PLACE to sit and visit with fellow Veterans and meet with some old friends, maybe make some new ones. If you are a VET, please wear something (like a hat, badge, pin, coat, etc.) so we may recognize you as such. With your permission, we'd LOVE to get photos for the media and our group pages. We want to honor you too!
The location of the nice warm building is only 1/8th mile below McDonalds, on the right going down Route 66 in Randolph. There is plenty of parking available. Time: 1:30 - 3:00PM.
Folks that we passed this idea by(prior to finding an appropriate location), asked "HOW CAN WE HELP?" - You could help by bringing a finger food snack (brownies, cookies, cheese, crackers, chips, pickles, etc.) or drinks - water, cider, punch, or the like.
PLEASE SHARE - Any questions, reach me by phone 802-728-9557. Lynn Petrucelli may be reached on Facebook IM.
