2024 New World Festival Volunteers - Save the Date!

Sunday, September 1, 2024 - 10:00am to 11:00pm09/01/2024 2:00pm 2024 New World Festival Volunteers - Save the Date! Attention: 2024 New World Festival Volunteers - Save the Date for FREE Admission! The 2024 New World Festival is Sunday, September 1st, 2024 from 12 Noon to 11 PM. We have exciting new and returning acts including: Le Vent Du Nord, Mick McCauley, Traverse, and The Real McCoys. Tickets this year are $65 for adult admission to all events. Volunteers are the backbone of our festival. We welcome anyone interested in volunteering for the first time. All volunteers receive FREE ADMISSION to the show for working just one shift of 3 hours. Most volunteer shifts are on the day of the festival, but we also need people to post signs, prepare set-up, and tear down after the festival. We have lots of open shifts for new and returning volunteers. New this year: a volunteer schedule will be posted soon on our new volunteer blog, http://newworldvolunteer.blogspot.com. Please check the blog during the summer for updates to the schedule and job descriptions. Also new this year: my name is Drew Terry. The last two years, I helped Ramsey Papp coordinate volunteers on the day of the festival. This year, with Ramsey's help I will be assuming the role of volunteer coordinator as Ramsey is extremely busy. Ramsey will still be helping behind the scenes and available as needed. Please join me and thank Ramsey for her years of hard work and dedication to the festival. Thank you, Ramsey! I would also like to thank all volunteers, especially those who return every year - we appreciate your commitment and experience, and would not be here without you! We currently have openings for volunteer captains to supervise the Rubbish and Recycling during the day. We are also looking for people willing to host musicians overnight during the festival. If you are a returning festival volunteer and would like to volunteer for either of these positions, please email Drew: nwfvolunteer@chandler-arts.org. Please note this is a non-profit event, and ALL proceeds support the Chandler Center for the Arts. Early Bird tickets are $55 if purchased by June 30th, 2024 on the Chandler web site: https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=232842 Remember to Save the Date - September 1st, 2024.
